There are a number of problems that are related to moisture. Too much or too little moisture can different problems. Too much moisture due to seepage of water into ceilings, walls or basements can cause mold and mildew. Both these if not dealt with properly and prevented effective can cause permanent damage to the affected areas, besides giving off a musty smell. Increase in the levels of humidity can cause mold and mildew as well. Decrease in the levels of humidity can have an adverse effect on out health. We should ensure that the level of humidity is just right in our homes.
